Is there a way to stop coil whine on this thing?
I have 7 days to send it back
Coil whine sounds good, who cares?

Coil whine isn't an actual issue with the hardware though. Unless it's extremely loud I don't know why you would be bothered by it when you're probably going to have music playing or headphones in and won't even hear it.
Could probably get a replacement by acting like an ass and saying it's broken because of the whining noise being because of bad caps or something if you really want to.
You could play the lottery and return it. Hoping you'll get a quieter one next time.
Or you could open it and cover any suspect component with epoxy to dull the sound.

As well as hope that you won't need the warranty for anything else, or need soldering done on those parts.
