it's more like, there's a spergy stats-man in your computer, and you must learn the language of his people. it excels in it's domain hah ahaha. actually though it kicks the shit out of using excel or whatever other bullshit for similar problems. ggplot2 is a good graphing library. idk i've used "r-script" a bunch to hack out little toy projects because it's quick and easy

be warned though! the size of the dataset you're working on in R is limited to the amount of RAM you have. otherwise it's fun and probably unlike other programming languages you've used
