Hello /g/entlemen!
I`m thinking about buying a new pendrive.
Should I buy one 128 GB or two 64 GB?
I was thinking about installing Linux next to my files.

If two are cheaper, you're good. If they're not, then buy the 128gb. There's really no need to have more than a couple of these drives at a time anyways.
Helpful as always.
I don't know
Why not both?
I have a related question, how do you destroy an old pendrive that loses data now?
>pendrive
Pardon?

Physically or data wise cus you can be creative in how you demolish it
>>55301577
I'm too poor
>>55301606
Well, both.

There's discount so they have same price. I'm asking in general
Two in raid 0.
>>55301660
Use boot and nuke for pendrive and the drill a hole through it
>>55302004
this
>>55302004
Nice but what if I plug it not into my PC. It won't work, will it?
>>55301708
If they're the same price then there's no reason to pay twice as much for the same memory.
Bump x2
Raid 0 won't work without configuration on another PC?

This. But also check benchmarks for endurance and speed. Even if in the same series/family/etc. higher capacity usbs are likely to use different (better) controllers than lower ones. Endurance benchmarks are all you need really but I doubt you'd reach capacity before losing/getting a new one.

I just bought the pendrive from the image today
Why would you want to carry around 2 pendrives for when you can just carry 1?
>>55305747
And how is it?
It's just a fucking USB stick. Do you really need to start a thread about this? Also that stick is shit. Get the Sandisk Extreme at the minimum.

Be careful with that one, it gets hot AS FUCK
