I use Plex as a media server, and I'd like to try and get it set up for my anime too. The nature of how anime seasons work compared to how Plex recognizes TV shows means I'll have to rename and shuffle some folders around. Anime seasons generally are treated as a new TV shows, instead of an extension of a currently existing one. Which in itself isn't a problem because I have a program which will automate that, but doing so will fuck up my torrent seeding.
Is there a way to make a "duplicate" of a file that I can rename and move into my Plex folder for Plex to read, without actually having two versions of the same file taking up double harddrive space? Actual shortcuts don't seem to work.
