My dad has the lenovo ideapad 100 14iby
it came without an os so i installed windows and after a few months my dad called me and said that the mouse and keyboard dont work.

the trackpad and keyboard dont work right now but the birghtness buttons work... wtf? reinstalling drivers didnt work and i even installed Ubuntu just to see if it would work. it doesn't

anybody have any idea on how to fix this shit?

Most nobody recommends newer thinkpads.

Maybe the thing is bust. Do you have warranty? You already said it's not software related.
