I'm planning on buying a TN monitor vs its IPS alternative mainly due to price and the "muh gaymen" pros.

While it will be used to play video games, I also plan on using it as my main movie/tv watching station. However, I've heard bad things about colors when compared to the IPS's.

Do any of you have experience with this? Is a TN monitor good enough for watching high-def movies?

Depending just how shit of a TN panel the viewing angles might be garbage when you're sitting back using it as a TV.

IPS is better but it's fine if you're just using it at your desk viewing it front-on
