Trying to create cross platform apps whitout cor Android and iOS, but Cocoa is shit.

Best tool for the trade?

Xamarin is okay, and being a .NET developer I admin the libraries are pretty robust

But consider going native. Is cross-platform really necessary? Xamarin is cool but native will always win

Really curious as to how you came to that conclusion.

For me it's the opposite. Cocoa spoiled me and everything I've tried since has either been a royal clusterfuck (web front end) or just not as good (Qt, GTK+). The only thing I wish was different is that it ran everywhere but otherwise, Cocoa is damn near perfect for end-user facing applications.
