How do i read SMART Data?

I have an old driver (mfg. in 2008) which has been through hell and back, and the fucking thing won't die. I'm impressed but i'm not relying on it, either.

As far as technical reporting... that's my measure. The thing isn't dead, but i'm not relying on it.

I would like to just understand what Crystal Disk is reporting, though. If i could get a better understanding of what is being reported, it would help me.

I've run a tool on it for maintenance (SpinRite), and SpinRite reports "No relocated sectors" after running on it for three days straight.

Yet, i throw a free tool on the same drive and it says "lol dude you have a few relocated sectors."

So how do i read this?

Well its saying reallocation data. Which means HDD dying by moving healthy data to different sectors by marking bad sectors as bad, and now you have too much of those bad sectors. Don't keep anything valuable on it

You read it with HDD tools for your vendor from dos or rescue interface

If you have hirens, try using the testing tool called "Partition Magic" to scan for errors on the harddrive, it can show the smart data as well.
If it passes a "short" "long" and "conveyance" test I tend to call the harddrives good to go honestly, but if you feel like it is dying I'd replace it.

Make a usb boot ubcd. Use HDD tools.

ubcd has parted magic included. Download rufus and ubcd and burn the ubcd.iso to the flash drive with rufus. Reboot pc and change boot order in bios/uefi to boot usb drive.

Thanks, guys.
