I did the ram upgrade and the disk upgrade a little over 3 years ago now. Now your comment on dual SSD's makes me want to go 16gb ram and better disks.... was it hard to find a screen? I hate the 1280

Had this since early 2013. With an SSD it's dead silent and boots to the desktop in 11 seconds.
