I just need something simple to replace the now failing HDD in my 5-year old ThinkPad L420. 120GB is enough because I don't hoard data any more, and as for software and services, I've surrendered to the botnet. (I've got many other life stresses, I just can't be autistic about tech any more.) So while I might eventually migrate to a Chromebook, for now I just want a quick fix for this laptop.
I've narrowed it down to these two.

Similar benchmark scores, similar price, so I guess it comes down to reliability and customer service.
So which choose, /g/? Have any experience with SanDisk or OCZ/Toshiba SSDs? Any horror stories?
If you answer: thank you
If you sage because >not tech support: gomenasai senpai ;_;

This was the best buy i ever made

Do not buy OCZ. They have a long history of faulty SSDs. Sandisk is a solid name, so it kingston. Samsung being the best but pricier. Anything but OCZ, though.
Also, what website is this?

Fuck never mind I am an actual moron. Still, though, even a moron like myself knows not to buy OCZ SSDs.

Just ordered the 480GB Trion for 99 USD a couple days ago.
Hope I don't get meme'ed. Then again it's cheap as fuck so whatever.

I think their quality have improved after Toshiba took over, the trion 150 basically uses Toshiba NANDS.

>don't buy ocz
>recommends sandisk
faggot, they use the same brand of nand
ocz trion is good and reliable budget ssd, if you want a step up, get sandisk x400, if you want to go higher 850 evo, that's as far as tlc is covered, mushkin reactor is a good affordable mlc drive which is what i use
