So i tried installing Ubuntu alongside 8.1 but Ubuntu ran like dogshit.
Now I'm trying to do a complete re-install but somehow Loonix fucked up my HD and now I can't delete any partition.. wtf
The 'delete' button does not work on any partition.. The format button only works on partitions 2 and 3 ... but nothing really happens
wat do
boot up the ubuntu disk, open disk utility, delete everything
how hard was that?

Why would you reinstall? You could've just run bootrec.exe /fixmbr, booted into Windows, and deleted the partitions associated with Ubuntu.

Alternatively use microsoft's diskpart directly from the windows installer. (shift+f10 to launch command line). after selecting a drive, the clean-command would zero out the first and last MB of the HD and by that delete any partitioning information, bootloader and stuff.
