have my first mac for 2 months now. An Air.
At the same time i asked IT dep at work to give me a mac mini so i can switch fully and more comfortably.
First thing i found out is the incredible compatibility with my other apple products.
Yes its an ecosystem but as I had and iphone and then bought the ipad mini for reading, it gets more and more benefitial together.
The air has an insane battery life. I came form an old HP laptop, this thing can hold a whole day of blogging with some streamed music in background. And im talking a whole damn day.
I stopped gaming at the end of the last year (played only Dota in windows but i was severly addicted and the complete uninstall was the only solution because i could easily fall back).
Apple products really "just work". And they even work for my needs. I do webdev proffesionally and everything seems much faster, easier, while keeping all the functionality of what i used before.

and i find the native apps really great.
I didnt want to used them at first because i dont trust native apps (thanks windows) but once i gave them a shot i found out i can really do a lot of work in them.
Cant really describe it but the macOS is simpler to use, yet doesnt lack the functionality at the same time
