rate my first selfmade PCB ever.

Which method?
Looks like you didn't clean the PCB well enough before applying the design which caused it to etch poorly or your etching solution wasn't strong enough.
As far as PCB design goes, generally you'd want to avoid having 90 degree edges on your traces.
Other than that, good work!

>Which method?
with direct toner method.
I needed a few tries to apply the toner properly. Could be possible that there have been residues from the multiple "cleaning"

why is that? Ill keep it in mind though. thanks.

PS: I used iron III chlorid. Not even sure if that's the correct term in english.

Well, apparently 90 degree angles cause more EMI at higher frequency circuits, but there's a lot of conflicting information about that.

Ah, Ferric Chloride.
I use Copper Chloride since you can re-use it after etching.

Should have been named "Transgressor". Otherwise it is excellent.

Wait is this something you can do at home? I always assumed you needed to send out to some Chinese shop to get a custom board.
>>55241158
Nice click ahmed
>>55241247
sure.
Depends on the method you are using though.

It was a uni project I did in 4th semester. Used the uni lab but did literally everything myself.

>90 degree traces
Cmon op...
>>55241374
I didn't even know about that. Blease be nice :(
I'll rework the layout.
>>55241169
with traces that wide, there shouldnt be any issue
with 1-2mm traces thats a mild issue, smaller and its noticable
>>55241247
Yes, but you can only do two-sided boards and you can't do very small traces/pads because the dissolving of the copper is not very uniform.
You also won't get a solder mask or plating on the insides of the holes, so soldering is not as easy as on a "real" board.
Neat

Can you post the schematic m8?
good shit keep at it we will need you soon.
This looks neat as fuck. How would one go about making their own? Anyone have any pointers?

No, I am in bed now.

Thanks, appreciate it.
Sweet dreams OP
Good job OP
You posted actual technology on this board

>traces at 90° angles
m8 its like you want the electrons to fly off and kill an innocent bystander
OP is not a faggot and is a true /g/ man.
props.
