Looking at HP spectre x360 15 with the i7 6560u. Anyone have or can comment on? Not looking to game just use as a computer for college; notes, programming, projects.

Can't speak to the x360. I have an X2 13" and it has terrible backlight bleed.
But as much as I hate HP, it meets all my needs and was cheap.

I assume that has the u variation of processor. I've looked at benches that put them pretty close to or above similar hq models, but how does it perform while multitasking?

Actually, I have the 5M71 w/ 8GB RAM. Not even i5.
It runs a couple VM's in Hyper-V, with Outlook, Visual Studio, a few tabs, and the PowerShell ISE just fine.
Only place I really notice a difference is in VM load testing.
