Currently they are still very basic.
They will need a lot more functionality to become useful for most people.
But those two have the most potential, and currently they are the best that FOSS community has to offer.

Good side of it being FOSS is that you can improve it and add new functions to it.
Well, corporate ones (Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant) are also getting the ability to be expanded and improved, but they are not Stallman-approved
