hey, i had to switch to C from Java and Python, what are the best C ecosystems to code in? I need something simple and clear, beginner friendly mostly for MAC
and if u know good books or channels to start with, let me know

Just read K&R

best is subjective. i mostly code C in sublime text or vim and use make for builds. it is ok, i would prefer a nice C ide but xcode is shit for c/c++ and qtcreator has some annoying bugs. clion requires cmake which i dont want. on windows visual studio is pretty good although you are limited to C99 with msvc.
