Quora's not so bad. It's often shitty, but I've seen some great things there. It's certainly good enough to be worth checking during research.
Yahoo Answers and WikiAnswers are both 100% useless.

I occasionally look at Quora just for the interesting input from notable people. The pooinloos really lower the posting quality on some questions but there's a surprisingly high number of informative, lengthy, and educated answers as well.
Shame the userbase is so lefty.
