What's up, /t/echies.

So my cell carrier (ATT) has a deal going on where you can get this Gear S2 watch for free (but on $10/24mos cell plan) if you also get a Galaxy S7 Active. I'm in the market for this active already, but am not sure if I should jump and get it now with the watch.

So my question is, are smart watches worth it yet? Is it worth the $240?

Should probably elaborate some more, too. I've got like 6 months left on my plan. If I want to get this active and watch, I have to pay like $160 to pay off my current plan. My bill with just the active would actually be $1/month cheaper, but with the watch would be $9 more expensive. If I get insurance on it it'd be about $15 more expensive per month. Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone own the Gear S2? Pic unrelated.
