What's with the whole thing about image.jpg filenames being associated with mobile posting?
I'm posting this from my phone for example and it doesn't seem to change anything.

iOS names all pictures you use from the picture picker "image" to preserve privacy, just in case if you had saved an image with a specific name, since you can't edit the filenames.

Wow, that's pretty sad.

You can't edit filenames on iOS, since the ideology is that there isn't a filesystem. Apps have to manage the files for you. In this case, Apple made it so that all pictures from the picture picker get's called "image.jpg" or "image.png" for reasons like, if you were to save a picture from someone that gave it a stupid name, and you put that picture in a professional e-mail, the receiver of that mail would get an unprofessional filename. Giving the filename "image" plays it safe.
