Thank you Amir, 20 Rupees have been deposited to your GeForce Experience account!
>>55171966
>sir, am i doing it right, no?
>can i get those rupees now, sir?
>>55171950
It isn't?
>>55172401
well it is 3584 MB + 512iMB where i is the square root of (-1)
>>55171936
Nice a new version.
I don't even know what version I have but I guess it's 0.6 or 0.7 somewhere.

Update.
Nice it now states which memory I have.
Was a mess when flashing the BIOS for my custom fan profile last time.
>>55172651
Oh and this is almost correct.
It's one of the memory modules that shares pipeline with the last 512MB, so it's actually 3072+512(+512)MB.
Oh, and OP, you're running yours in 8x only.
PCIe 3.0 x8 is plenty. You're losing 1% performance compared to running x16. It's 2% for x4 or 2.0 x8. After that it really starts ramping up, though.

>tfw smallest bus on /g/
>>55173298
77mm die size damn what is this a 240?
my 1080 says it only has 4096 memory I think its bugged or im in a world of shit heh
GPU-Z has my 280X fucked up with the bus.
It's 3.0 x16, shows as 1.1 x1
>>55173298
Yeah. Best I could get for my setup that I was certain would work. I've heard a 7750 might be better, but every model I've looked at has too big of a cooler. Hopefully Polaris brings me an upgrade, although I don't know how much good it would do. The GPU is rarely if ever the bottleneck for me, it's usually my laptop Core 2 Duo that gives out first.

whoops, meant for >>55173341
>>55173473
What the fuck is that, and why do i want to use 2x power bricks and give it an R9 nano?
>>55173467
>Running PCI-E 1.1 at 16x
You know it changes based on what you are currently handling right?
>>55173531
It's the Thinkpad Advanced Dock. You put a small, low-power desktop GPU in it, drop your old Thinkpad in (T60 through T400 only), hook up an external monitor, and it just works. The slot only provides 50W of power and the space is so confined that even this R7 240 only barely fit, but it's still a massive upgrade over any of the internal cards available in the old Thinkpads you'd use it with.

Imaginary.

Adaptive power management.
>>55172915
You're fucking retarded. It's 4096MB. You're literally talking about physical memory capacity as if it is affected by the bus it's on.
3GB of 4GB is attached via 3 64 bit 2 channel controllers on 6 32 bit buses, 1GB is on a 32 bit bus via a 64 bit 2 channel controller.
You could have 4GB of memory on 32 8bit controllers accessed via a single 8 bit bus and while that's fucking retarded slow this does not change how much memory you physically have, you mentally deficient technology illiterate midget.
No, it's not 128MB+128MB+128MB+.. of memory, fucktard.
I see this has turned into a post our GPU-Z's thread.
>>55171936
Cuck
>>55174981
So the gtx970 doesn't have 4gb on board vram?
>>55171936
ayy
>>55173473
You would be looking for r7 460 in about a week. Supposed to be somewhere around a 380.
>>55171936
Bigger number means better right?
>inb4 that's not how it works
>>55171936
new Laptop.
I've got a weird R9 390 whose core barely overclocks. Memory on the other hand... (not that it gives much benefit)

>@ x16 1.1
Better luck next time.
>>55181005
Why is your 3.0 x8 slot at x1 1.1?
>>55181005
It's called power saving you cunt.
