Hello /g/. I just bought myself two 144hz screens, but I've ran into a problem. My pc only has one dvi port, so my main monitor is rendered at 144hz while the secondary monitor is at 60hz. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, as I don't play on the 60hz, but every time there is a video, stream or a gif going on the 60hz monitor, the 144hz instantly gets capped at 60hz as well. Is there any cable that doesn't require a dvi port that makes my monitor render at 144hz, or any other solution to this?

DVI or Displayport. That's all there is.

If you have a card that doesn't have a Displayport connection then you probably don't have the horsepower to drive 144fps on a 144hz monitor

I run every game at, at least 120fps, usually around 144. The performance dropping when I use my second monitor is however very annoying, as I usually watch streams or videos on my second monitor.

Then get a dvi to displayport cable or just a straight displayport cable if your monitor has displayport also. Displayport can do 144hz too. 980 ti also has displayport connection on it too
