>desktop dies
>x86 dies
>nobody uses a web browser anymore
>we're all stuck with shitty "apps" that invade all your privacy
why is /g/ excited over the death of x86 again?
>worried about privacy
>uses Intel with IME
Just don't use Android if you care about privacy.

Sup metro Detroit bro? Downriver reporting.
>>55156332
none of that has anything to do with x86 you fucking retard.
ffs, Win32 is literally the worse thing to happen to computing.
it's the only reason x86 is even fucking around anymore.
even fucking M$ is trying to push you winshitters to multiplat friendly WinRT

ARM only runs shitty meme OS's that are walled garden, privacy invading, pieces of shit.
>>55156332
Isn't there an option to turn on location tracking in apps? I know iOS has an option like this.
>>55156715
ya, except that's wrong.
ARM can run anything you want as long as it doesn't depend on shitty garbage like Win32.
kek, even Intel tried to axe x86 when they made Itanium with HP. But winshitters prevailed. ty winshitter.

Ubuntu runs on ARM
>>55156749
yeah a crippled version with no actual applications
>>55156780
what?
do you have any proof of x86 only, dependent programs that are hosted on Ubuntu's repos?
>>55156393
Isn't rooted android the best option for privacy? You can remove all the Google and OEM pre-installed apps and give false info to applications. Other options are mostly closed source like iOS, BB10, WP. Ubuntu, Sailfish, and Firefox aren't as good.
