There aren't really deals to be had in Japan anymore.
Occasionally things like cameras will be slightly cheaper, especially if you use your tax free tourist discount, but you'll usually end up paying for the international version which includes all languages but Japanese that is the same price as elsewhere just without tax or the slightly cheaper Japanese version that includes only Japanese. I ended up being able to save about 15000 yen on an A6000 camera by buying the Japanese edition, but I can read Japanese
The only other thing I can think of that are cheaper and worth buying in Japan are the Japanese version of game systems and games, rice cookers, and Toto toilet seats.

In Pennsylvania they're adding a Round1 Arcade. I THINK there's one in Massachusetts too, but I don't know where exactly. If you're in Maryland they have some games in White Marsh Mall and Marley Station Mall. And I think there might be some games in NYC, not positive.
