QR codes are just 2D bar-codes

They make more efficient use of space.
The problem with your picture is that it is too fucking big

3d printers
VR
Any video above 4k res & 120fps
>>
>>55153750
You mean any video above 720p and 30fps?

Also, how is 3D printing worthless, are you retarded? But seeing you value high frame-rates you're obviously a gamer, so yeah, retarded.

>>55152727
Pretty sure they work the same way internationally.

why the hate for higher res? sure it makes hardly any difference for normal viewing but continuing to develop this stuff will have benefits

aren't they prevalent in manufacturing though
>>
>>55153854

Yes. The information in a normal barcode is stored along 1 dimension. The bars are only long so they are easier for the machine to pick up.

In a QR code, the information is stored in a matrix along 2 dimensions.
>>
>>55154239
Barcodes only exist in the 3rd dimension.
A first dimension barcode is imaginary math bullshit.
>>
>>55154326

Yes, the physical representation is a 3D object in our world, but the data is stored as a 1 dimensional array. In a QR code, the data is a 2 dimensional array.

Are you literally retarded?
>trip code you spent way too long generating
Oh, sorry. I hope your carer is nice to you.
