Alright /g/, the time hath finally come. I have been looking forward to my first school programming project, and I must declare what I'm going to do in my intro to programming class in Java. Ganna have about a month and a half to complete it.
Was thinking of doing an RPG character stat creator. How pleb is this? I want to learn a lot, considering I have lacked the motivation to do anything without a course directed requirement. Though, I also don't want to start on something.

Poker sounds neat. Used to play quite a bit, haven't for the past 4 years though.
I imagine that I would focus on one particular game of poker, my personal preference being hold 'em. I used to just deal myself and a ghost a hand with a deck of cards when I was bored, I suppose making a program that does that would essentially be the same thing.
