Windows 7 isn't updating anymore...
Fresh installs of win 7 seem to be not possible to update anymore.
I just installed a fresh copy of win7 home premium and it wont update, They update thing just keeps going on forever, Downloaded a few other updates to try and jump start it but no luck, Tried to install the conveinience rollup. still no luck.
Wat do?

Use wsus offline or let it sit on Windows update overnight. The convenience roll up has a prerequisite patch

So, is this a SP1 install? If it is, this makes life easier...
Disable the windows update service. Then you'll need to install your updates through wusa.

Do a fresh install again.
Apply april servicing stack update manually.
Apply convenience update rollup manually.
Restart and check for updates, it'll take 15 minutes now.
