What Linux desktop environment would /g/ suggest for a Thinkpad x230 i-5?

What's the notable difference between xfce, ldxe, and kde? I've only used xfce of the three and it seemed fine
So far I've gathered xfce is lightweight
And kde has a lot of functionality at the cost of some bloat
The rest are unimportant

So sounds like xfce is a good choice especially considering battery life is an important factor. Thanks

lxde - super lightweight, but feature bare
kde - every feature known to mankind crammed together, bloated
xfce - nice mix of the two, still lightweight

Use openbox and just build it from the ground up. Doesn't take very long.
I like lxde myself. Light weight, configurable to easy look like Win98, if you're comfortable with that kind of environment and dont give a shit about aesthetics.
Perfect for me anyway SENPAI.
