Since nobody uses IE or plugins these days, it's mostly just fake "update" popups and CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD FREE MEDIA PLAYER 3000 INSTEAD OF THE FILE YOU WANTED dialogs. 90% of them are adware or spyware. If you're adventurous enough, feel free to install Windows in an isolated VM and launch every random autodownload .exe you come across when searching for porn or movies.
