Asus ZenFone 2
Bought last year this time
Sum cards both suddenly stopped working, never dropped or exposed to heat

Ask Asus for repairs, no available in my country....

Ask 3rd party repairs.. $130 for repairs... meh paid like $250 for it

Everything else works fine

What is the equivalent of ZenFone 2 for 2016?

I don't want Asus anymore since they have bad customer service.. I looked online and most people had the same issue with sin card & Asus ignored the problem

Zenfone 2. There are no other phones with an x86 processor and the ability to charge their batteries in under 60 minutes. Sorry pal.

Try a factory wipe. As a last resort, unlock the bootloader (on the asus website) and install a CM ROM.
