I actually still have a 10BASE2 token ring setup at home that still connects 3 old pentium machines with CRT monitors and all.

Sometimes my friend and I like to play Doom and Quake in multiplayer on authentic hardware, it's sweet as hell.

Really makes you appreciate how far networking technology has come.

It's too much effort to rip them out of the walls. The cables are likely attached to the framing. It's only 10MB/s so I suppose wireless could replace it one day.
