Hey /g/ I need to build on my PC for mining this shit since bitcoin is out of the question. I'm starting up mining for pocket money, but since I'm a complete newfag, I need all the advice I can get.

This is my current rig

CPU

>AMD FX-6350

RAM

>8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MH

MOTHERBOARD

>Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. 990FXA-UD3 (CPU 1)

GPU

>2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

My tech friend says I should Mine Ether with a couple R9 390X graphics cards. And that all I need is a barebones system, and it can easily pull 65-70 MHs / 12-15 Ether a month.

Would two 390x be compatible with my current system though? With that motherboard? Just want to make sure before I buy them.

Thank you

How much are these memecoins worth, anyway? Calculate how long it will take to start turning a profit or if that is even possible.

Never really got into the concept of mining. I got a fairly decent rig (i7 370k, gtx 98p, 16gb ddr3), is mining difficult?

It's retarded to get a 390x when the 480 series is coming out so soon and will probably get about the same or more MHs with far less power draw.

Mining is unsustainable for the vast majority of people out there. You'll end up paying much more in power bills than you could ever make back through mining.
