the problem is they are common as fuck
it needed 2 fans but engineers only added one its a blunder.
but still its hard not to bump into them here in NZ or Oz i'm not surpiried it needs a cooler.

Actually it's a touchsmart tx2. I like it, metal base, plenty of ventilation. It doesn't need the fan, but I don't want it in the mid 80s celcius when browsing the web or watching movies. I wish they made modern laptops like this. I have a samsung at home that I never use because it gets even hotter than this and doesn't have ventilation on the plastic base so coolers don't work. I consider it pretty well made, but you're right, a second fan would make the cooler pad useless.
