Hey guys so I decided to whip my computer and mid way through the process I turned off my laptop and now I'm getting this error message. I did not back up anything because I do not need the info on the computer can anyone help me fix this.

Was it running windows 8 or higher? Some new computers don't like it when you try to take control.
I'm not sure how, but they can actually do something to your hardware that won't let you boot without a copy of the OS that did it in the first place.
Scary, I know.

Failing that, I'm really not sure. Have you tried just manually booting to the drive you know has your OS on it?

Did you read the message? You need to install an operating system. I recommend Gentoo, but there are others.
