What makes you want to move over to Windows? If it's gaming you could always dual boot it for when you need it. And because you wouldn't have to use it you won't have to worry as much about windows bring crap

Use Linux if you torrent and want security. Run windows in a VM unless you are into gaymen. Although Vt-d virtualization nullifies any reason to run windows outside a VM
