The only real reasons are philosophical. If you like the BSD license more than the GPL, or prefer the BSD community's way of doing things over the Linux community's, then you should try BSD.

Arch Linux is an immature distro with default Systemd and software anarchy. Also the community is garbage and think they are 1337 but there's nothing 1337 about running a binary distribution.
