Started my internship last week, have seen 0 apples so far, issued pcs for emails are thinkpads and dev pcs are dells. Everyone I saw programing was using c/c++.
I forced my last company to give me a notebook and blackberry instead of MacBook and iPhone.
I left after one year. At some point the pajeets building software wich performance and memory management was crucial were writing in java because they couldn't into C and only knew ruby as a second language.
If you are a developer, consider jumping ship as soon as you can.

I fell for the Windows meme for a decade and a half lads. I personally prefer Chromebook dual-booting Ubuntu, but goddamn macbooks are pretty damn good, especially their virtual desktops

They are definitely better than Windows, just more expensive, but as long as the company pays for it who cares.
Linux is arguably the best for programmers, but maybe the company thinks Linux is unreliable because some distros like Arch give it a bad reputation of being unstable and broken
