I want to build a new PC, how do I do it? Should I build my own or should I buy ready made? And what specs should I choose?

What I thought xeon chipsets was only for servers. Why would I need that for a desktop?

Modeling, rendering, CAD etc. Xeon would be accurately described as the professional line where the Core iX series and below would be consumer (maybe excluding the i7 line, i think the marketing buzzword for that is pro-sumer)
