Bought it off a local tech reviewer who had 5 980's he didn't pay a dime for.
neither card can maintain >60 fps consistently at hyper settings, and the settings that both can maintain playable fps at the 970 demolishes it.

WoW is a very CPU intensive game, however the 390 maintains 60+ consistently at max details where as the 970 couldn't even go past 50.
