Will either the Classic or Passport last for three or four more years? Seems like bb has already abandoned it, but surely it'll still run third party apps well enough?

If blackberry made the classic with 6S Plus camera and battery life, I'd cop that shit immediately, but as it stands now, I have to use the iPhone.

It's a shame, really.

I had something similar - BB 9780 - and it was marvelous, It's biggest downfall was the requirement for BlackBerry service to use mobile internet, if it had normal mobile web I'd still be using that phone today.

That's a long lifespan for a phone, considering the passport has been out 2 already.
That being said, I don't intend to even consider upgrading for another year. Android compatibility isn't perfect, but its good enough that the lack of BB apps isn't a problem
