What's /g/'s opinion on crossfired Fury Xs?
An anon on /g/ said that there have been report of CF stuttering on games, but it seems that all of them have cleared up through updated drivers (based off AMD's logs)
I understand the immediate downside of running 2 cards but are there else that I need to know? Fury X specifically too.

take this to /sqt/. Not being mean but you'll probably get more answers.
But to give a short gist, xfire scaling is almost 70% more performance if the game supports it. The fury/Fury X on its own (as in only 1 card) had shown occasional stuttering because of how HBM1 ram doesn't downclock properly and overall instability of HBM1 as a whole. This seems hit and miss though as quality control normally is.

I'll make sure to do that next time.
And yeah ive seen desu stuttering issue myself with my current fury x. Though honestly 70% more performance seem quite appealing for the price of it.

that's assuming the game fully supports xfire. This isn't even an SLI vs xfire thing either. Hands down SLI scales worse than xfire, but 90% of titles out there now just don't bother with multi-GPU support anymore. We're soon approaching the ability to drive a 4K panel off of a single GPU. Why make drivers for 2+ cards anymore? Just look at Nvidia. To get proper 3/4 way SLI drivers, you have to contact them.

that stuttering issue*
how the fuck did windows spellcheck make that desu

understood. I thought about that already but it seems that at least most triple A titles support it
