Hello,
Looking to go deeper than my usual internet browsing and I'm hoping I can get some VPN recommendations on top of any other suggestions. Not a stranger to internet security or computers in general, just wondering what works best for you guys. Thanks!

>Hi I'm looking to hide my traffic, what do you guys use?
See? That was much easier. Personally, I don't have anything super sensitive I'm moving over the network when not at home so the most VPN I have is my personal PC. Set it up for VPN use and when on public wifi, (coffee shop, University) I connect to my home PC.

How do do I setup a VPN like that? I can't find any tutorial, everything is taking about Android apps and Hotspot Shield.

You're insecure.

Just run this docker container

Assuming Windows 7. If you're on Linux, I don't know what to tell you. Honestly though I removed all that shit because I wasn't comfortable having a port open and facing the internet. I just connect to my phone now and use the 4G LTE.

yea well the myth surrounding VPN services is they let you browse anonymously. When in reality they will give you up in a nano second if any ABC agency comes a knocking.
>No guys I swear, I just care about muh privacy, I'm not trying to pirate anything!!
Which is why these threads are usually full of garbage. VPN on clearnet is good for circumventing bullshit restriction on campus etc.

Thanks, I appreciate it
