As if there weren't a million other ways to know, Facebook and Imgur are notorious examples of this issue. Whatever they're trying to run using the Flash plugin, it's not integral to the site and not obvious to the user. Fucking disgusting.

Flash RTMP delay is like 4 seconds, HLS/DASH on a 2 second chunk size can be up to 10 seconds to be reliable enough.

i've never in the past 16 years of internet gotten a virus from flash, i have however gotten many viruses from compromised ads. twitch is the last site that i use that has flash and since i'm in no rush to get rid of it i still use it.
