sup /g/, is this a valid way to cool down your PC with an additional 2 fans? Aside from dust, are there any actual drawbacks? also I just put together a rig and am slightly disappointed with my FPS in CSGO. fx8120 eight core/r9 280x 3gb gpu and 16gb of ram and I'm only getting like 150fps in matchmaking. Seems odd.

Csgo is very heavy in the single threaded CPU department so your fx will not perform well there, as it benefits from more multithreaded workflows

You can fuck around with settings, specifically nvidia control panel settings
Adding case fans won't change much. download speccy and see what's overheating.
If it's your cpu get a new cooler
if it's your gpu clean the fans
not much else you can do
