Most people have probability seen this XKCD comic about using live streaming cameras and a simple VR headset to change your perspective. What if instead of goal posts you steamed video from two quadcopters? The pose of the quad copters could be proportional to the pose of a VR headset. Obviously there would be some serious issues with noise and vibration I think a combination of mechanical stabilization and active "cropping" of a wide angle image might work. You could superman or a giant and look all around!
What do you think? Possible? Impossible? Possible but so much more work than it would be worth? Totally awesome?

Decades before Lockheed Marin sunk an industrial scale suction pump into the taxpayer's wallets, a stereoscopic enhancer was tested on an aircraft. A camera on each wing tip was slaved to a helmet display allowing the pilot to visually estimate the distance to targets.
Wing tips vibrate. That was not a problem. Jittery drones should not be a problem with 2016 level tech.
