Are there any books out there that teach C# in relation to game development (Preferably Unity game engine). Beginner - Intermediate level would be fine.

Why don't you just look through the reference guide/tutorial notes on the Unity website?
Check linda.com unity tutorials they have all that stuff. Also check the forum cgpersia they have tons of material about all types of coding and resources for game dev

Programming is orthogonal to the domain.
Whether the class is called Zombie or Invoice is not relevant, its all code.
Just pick a "learn to program with c#" book first before you get into specific libraries, frameworks etc

I know basic programming, I've taken Java courses before.
What I'm looking is something that specifically deals with scripting and algorithms for game development.
I found a course on Coursera that teaches C# using Unity, so I might just do that.
