This shit is in between so much other dumb shit. It's a full time job keeping SQL up for rotten Indian duhvelopers. Then I get apps, code review, tickets, reports, and other shit on top. I'm tired of being handcuffed all the time.

My previous two years were really spotty. Worked on some really stupid duhvelopment teams. That's why I shifted to a DBA role, to get away from that. Now I need to make it through a year or two until my finances and reputation recover.

Not that poster but I would not be surprised if it was the XML Powerpoint files strewn all over a webserver viewed through some builtin IE handler. It's incredible what kind of hoops you have to jump through when management is afraid of programming/programmers. Then years later somebody else comes along and thinks _you're_ the stupid one.
