Hey /g/, I recently decided to upgrade my old pc, I want to buy a new graphics card, a new processor, a new motherboard, a new power supplier, and maybe a new case if I'll need more space for the hardware.
The list:
1.Nvidia GTX970
2.Intel I7 6700 (for editing videos/photos)
3.Asus B150M-K for the 6th generation processor (maybe a better one)
4.A Cooler
I wanted to ask you if I'm right about my decisions.
BTW, I'm about to bust my ass for those stuff, so in the next few months I'll get the money for it.
Worst time to buy a 970
When you get the money, look at GPUs again since this is literally the month that new cards come out

I guess you're right, maybe I'll try to get the new ones, I didn't mention that I'm also saving money for a 5Dmk3/2 or a 6D

Wait, spend 100$ less on an Rx 480 and get more performance for less money. Or just get a used 980 ti if you can't handle using amd.

That's not called upgrading, that's called building a new computer and cannibalizing a couple of minor parts from the old one.

Actually I'm thinking about getting a Nvidia for the CUDA, But I Heard amd are nice too

at least you know what I meant
Best to buy a 980 if you are to going to buy a NVIDIA card anon
bought a 970 last year, nothing but regrets
