Rate my first build /g/. There is no GPU as I plan to get an RX 480 as long as the benchmarks are decent. Also will have to do more research on the monitor, but I like everything else so far.

Well even ddr4 can be gotten cheaper, god knows you dont need a whopping 16 gigs

look at B150 motherboards. not the z170. anything around $70-80 should be good enough.
Main things I noticed:
>Motherboard isn't bad, but overpriced for what you are going for if you are not going to overclock. Either get a cheaper one, or get a 6600K with a better cooler.
>If you do not have a Windows key already, get it from a third party site and not one of the main ones. If you are deadset on W10, get a W7 key and upgrade it.
>I would maybe get a 650W power supply, just in case. 550W isn't bad, but 650w is the sweet spot in my opinion for all around compatibility.
The RAM is fine, in my opinion. Despite what others say, 16GB is damn useful.

Get the cheapest asrock HYPER mobo you can find in order to OC the CPU and RAM. It has an external clock generator.

Switched up the PSU, and the motherboard for a cheaper one. Not really interested in overclocking, As the processor from what Ive read should be fine for gaming at 1080/1440p
Not a good monitor. No true blacks.
