Last week I went on trip through web-developer, database companies and so on. Even tho everyone had possibility to chose OS and gadgets from what ever supplier they want, most of them chose Mac's n other Apple products. Why so? Aren't Apple products mainly overpriced and easily beaten by regular PC's?

Stop being concerned about public opinion.
I see plenty of programmers using Macbooks not because they are Apple fans, but because it's easy to develop for OSX Windows and Linux.

Nobody except the irrelevant positions uses OS X

Because those people develop for 3 main OS's and because of Apple's lockdown they need to use macs to be able to run all 3.
