Hey /g/ was wondering if anyone would like to help a noob install majaro linux on their laptop, and is there another version of linux that you'd recommend over majaro?

I honestly not recommend using Manjaro if you're a noob.
Try something easier, like Xubuntu.
Some flavor of Ubuntu, since it'll be very easy to get all of the components of your laptop working.
Ubuntu Gnome iso, if your laptop isn't a toaster. It's intuitive and can easily be riced.
